Genuine Tesla Motor:
Tesla's genuine concept had a major flaw:
the rotor was loosing ferromagnetic property
by rapid reaching Curie temperature due to
eddy current induction heating.
His initial idea was to build solid rotor from
ferromagnetic material with wire cage making
both magnet-magnet and magnet-current
interactions without laminating the core at
all, just to boost eddy currents as much as
possible to increase the torque.
Tesla's genuine design is consisted of one
big solid conductive ferromagnetic rotor
protracted by the shaft surrounded
by three-phase AC electromagnets.
